It’s really time for you to un-big that back..

Women, turn yourself into a gym girl! It’s 2024…time to stop being afraid of the gym. You still have enough time to look good for the summer.

Today’s success story is about my client Erica.

Erica came to me with the goal of turning into a gym girlie. She had little to no experience in the maneuvering around the gym, and like most people, had only really seen herself on the cardio equipment for hours a week.

She was on a mission to get it right and get it tight for the summertime and really wanted to do it the right way.

After a quick consultation, I found Erica ane I to be a great fit. Based on her currently lifestyle, was motivated and dedicated and already quite regimented. I knew Erica would see results quickly…and that she did!

I first started Erica on a custom plan with not just a fitness routine but a well tailored nutrition routine as well.

After our first consult, I found out Erica was eating far under her ideal calorie intake for her height.

She, like most people, thought that eating less will help her lose weight and “get skinny.”

This is a common misconception. In her case, eating under 1000 calories and only one meal + one snack a day was actually preventing her from losing weight.

She complained of low energy levels, feeling tired during the day, multiple headaches during the week and occasional body fatigue. All symptoms of being malnourished.

My initial goal with her was actually to get her to eat more calories, and more of the right foods.

To get her metabolism restarted again to help give her body energy, we increased her calorie intake from ~750-900 calories to 1400 calories.

As with anything new, there were some initial hurdles adjusting to a new addition to her currently lifestyle.

The initial two weeks were challenging for her to increase her food intake, as she saw an initial weight gain but the internal results from that alone were life changing. Increased energy, less fatigue, headaches nonexistent.

As her body adjusted to the new calorie intake, her once slow metabolism started to pick up and weight started to fall off…fast!

In less than 12 weeks, Erica lost 12 pounds, “unbigged” her back and started getting the outline of a 6 pack!

It’s amazing what a structure plan focusing on fitness AND nutrition can do for you.
